We donate 5% of our total annual income to the Italian Association L’Arte di Vivere con Lentezza (www.viverexonlentezza.it)

which promotes women’s empowerment projects and training in Jaipur, India. We also support a women’s cooperative in Marrakech, where we produce some of our garments.
We support the Jalianaya Foundation in La Guajra, Colombia, which works with more than 200 women in remote rural communities living in desperate conditions. Jalianaya’s programs include teaching weaving, providing the women with yarn and buying the finished product. The program has helped give them and their families the economic independence they need to lift themselves out of poverty.

UNESCO around the world is losing its cultural and historical heritage related to garment making due to the prevalence of Western and industrial techniques.
Our garments are handmade by local artisans using ancestral techniques, which are passed down to future generations by talented artisans and craftsmen.

We often recycle vintage fabrics to reduce our environmental impact.

Weaving and hand printing keep the communities’ traditions alive.
